How to Get a Range Boost for Your E-bike?
Dual e-bike battery setup types: parallel (dual battery) and power bank (range extender).
The parallel battery type: 1. With two e-bike batteries in parallel, the output voltage is as one battery, but the amp hours (range or power) are doubled. Discharged at the same time. 2. One battery power the e-bike, and automatically or manually switch to the second battery when the first one is out of power.
The range extender type: The range extender is plug-in with the main battery. When the main battery is getting low, the range extender battery can start to charge the main battery. It works as a “power bank”.
